Garage floor resurfacing maybe for new build property

Post by khp25 » Sat Jul 25, 2020 8:55 am

Hi there,

Looking to do some work in the garage. It's a new build garage with a concrete floor and not smooth (picture attached). I'd like to smoothen it out and wondering if using something like a Resincoat self levelling compound is a good idea? Is it easy to use or am I going to regret not getting someone in to do it? Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi khp25
Using self levelling compound is fairly straightforward but if you are going to park a car in the garage go for one without latex.

Hi Stoneyboy,

Great, thanks for the advice. Will take a look at other compounds that don't have latex.

Thanks,

KP
