Gas central heating radiator not working.

Post by frankino » Sun May 06, 2007 1:37 pm

I have a problem with my gas central heating. When the heating is on and radiators are turned up fully(to give out maximium heat), all the radiators are scolding hot with the exception of the bedroom heater which is cold. I can feel the heat on the inlet pipework , but the radiator is cold. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Frank

check both valves are open. if it has a trv fitted remove the head and gently tap (the pin often gets stuck)

Dave, many thanks for your response. Can you tell me , is the trv on the inlet or outlet of radiator ? And can you explain what you mean by "remove the head" . Please excuse my ignorance on this matter!
