Had a Gazco Logic gas fire fitted a year ago and having problems with it. Paint peeling off panel. Fitter replaced panel as fire still under warranty, but fitter hasn't fixed chrome surround properly. More worryingly is the smell from the fire, as though something is scorching! There are scorch marks on the glass panel and also on the actual fireplace surround behind the gas fire. Also the coals have turned a rusty brown colour. Anyone know how I stand with getting a different fire or my money back. I shouldn't be getting all these problems after one year!
