Getting laminate to "click" together. Help, advice, information, answers and tips on all types of flooring from laminate and carpet to timber and vinyl

I'm laying laminate flooring at the moment and I'm having extreme difficulty getting the panels to click together.
If I manage to get one end in then it just pops out when I try the other end. The panels fit together and slide against each other but refuse to click into place.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
