Glueless Engineered Click Fit Laminate Flooring

by billobach181 » Fri Nov 02, 2007 2:36 pm

Is it OK to lay Glueless Engineered Laminate on top of Vynil Tiles on a Screeded Concrete Floor or should I remove the Vynil tiles?
On concrete Floors can I use B&Q's Combined Damp Proof and Insulation Membrane on its own or is it best to use a Damp Proof layer as well?
Regards
Bill

Hi Bill,
If the vinyl tiles are not loose and are secure you can lay over them, if it states that it has a DPM and all joins are taped it should be fine as long as you do not pierce it while laying...Just lay one run of the underlay at a time this way you have less chance to damage it but walking on it(if this is the foam underlay I am thinking of from B & Q)

good luck
