I have a GoPro Hero 4 SIlver with a broken front LCD GLASS. The LCD screen is fully functional, but the glass is shattered. I would like to remove the glass (use a heat gun and remove the glass), and replace the glass with a new one instead of changing the whole LCD assembly. I have changed iPhone screens before and I it not that difficult. I am hoping that after removing the broken glass on the GoPro, I could find a piece of glass, cut it to fit the screen and glue it to the LCD screen with many some UV glue.
What glass can I use to do it? How can I cut it? Would there be an equivalent like a plastic screen of some sort that I could stick in there?
