Gravel over existing concrete drive?

by howdifficultcanitbe » Sun Jun 03, 2007 7:23 pm

We have a flat concrete drive that is in need of some inspiration. Rather than break up existing concrete drive can we simply lay gravel on top? What would a cost effective alternative be? Cheers

Gravel can be laid on concrete despite the unknowing answers saying it cant. It does however need to be laid to a minimu thickness of 40mm to stop it spreading everywhere. You will also need to rake it every two weeks or so. Its the cheaspest option for a cover up job.
