I have 2 G9 wall lights which have touch switch facility. The touch feature has failed on both and though I could return them I would prefer to keep, and control from light switch. Can I just bypass the "touch" box and wire direct or is some other interface between power and lamp needed? I ask the question as I have a G9 bathroom light which does have a "box" between lamp and supply.
