Hi All this is my first post here so thank you to any responses and your time.
i have been busy turning my loft into a 'comfortable' area, 15cm too short for a conversion and i didnt have the cash to raise the roof or lower the floor.. so anyway, could you please help which what to do with the roof for finishing and heat control in the top. it is a hot room but i would like to keep the beams visible
the floor space is 12m sq.
the roof is 440cm w & 195cm in the pitch (x2)
the distance between beams is 30cm
the depth is 13cm
what is your suggestions for keeping the heat out (in during winter) and getting a nice finish? (cheap is always a good one)
have looked at
lagging and plasterboard
plaster board with celotex (way to expensive)
a silver lining sheet like bubble wrap with plaster board
just dont know what to do for the best
