High cistern chugging

Hi folks, had a new high rise cistern installed but after flushing it makes a chugging noise when refilling the cistern. Any idea how to stop this? Many thanks.

Hi rubyroamer,
Most likely cause is the fill valve bouncing - you will need to look in the top while it’s filling to confirm this.
