After having some electrical work done we are left with a jagged hole in our ceiling plasterboard that I think is too large to fill just with filler bit am a beginner so would like some advice. Picture attached.
Hi karenm Ideally, trim the hole, fit a piece of wood larger than the hole by 30/40mm, secure this in place with 3 or 4 screws around the edge through the existing plasterboard. Cut a piece of plasterboard to fit the hole and screw this in place using 2 or 3 screws. Fill the remaining gaps with filler sand and make good. Regards S
