Holes in ceiling

by chrisg1140 » Fri Nov 28, 2008 11:48 am

A little while ago water marks became present in one of my ceilings, eventually causing a small section to fall through (about 1or 2 metres square), these water marks are now present in the bathroom and another bedroom, but they are following a straight line from the first place to be affected. What should be done?? Having not much money i am worried i will be unable to get these fixed, at the same time them becoming worse. I have a flat roof and wonder whether a seal or something has gone along the line of the water marks

Any advice would be appreciated

You have a leaking roof.
The water is running beside a joist.
It needs to be fixed.
Get up there and take a careful look and find the leak, you may be able to fix it.
