honeywell thermastat dial 1-5 what to set to ?

we have just moved and had new boiler radiaters power flushed, on the hall way wall is a thermastat honey well dial number 1-5.
what should this be set on during cold weather?

the thermostst has dial numbered 1 to 5 at the moment it is set to number 3 we have 8 rads around the house 4 with dials on others not, just want to know what do i have to put it on to add more heat t home thankyou in advance

It is there for your personal comfort.
so set on lowest to give you a comfortable surroundings as this is the cheapest choice but as its in the hallway might not give comfort in living room or bedrooms so adjust to all areas

Are you sure this is just a thermostat? I cannot recall any Honeywell device that displays numbers rather than the temperature.
