Hoppers for Drainage for Replacing old Cast Iron Pipe With Plastic

Postby nikole » Mon Jan 23, 2017 12:33 pm

Hi :)

I need help please, I am pricing a job for a old cast iron drain pipe to be removed and a new plastic one to be installed. the current pipe is 9" so they need it to be as close to that as possible, I have priced on an 8" brown drain pipe (not underground, this is 30 metres high) and I need a hopper to suit it. I have tried everywhere I can think of to get a hopper to suit this, does anyone have any ideas??

I have literally tried everywhere and no one seems to know of anything

thanks x

Simply Build It

you wont get one for a pipe at that diameter, you could make a square hopper with upvc flat board and paint the interior with flexcryl to prevent it from leaking
