Hello, Yesterday put heating on but only got hot water. Hot water was working but heating was not. So placed the 3 way valve to manual to make do. Looked today, took apart the box containing the synchron motor and detached from the valve to check valve has not seized. Valve was easily moved with fingers so should be fine? Put it together again thinking it was a motor (synchron) fault and tried heating. The motor moved lever to middle and heating is on and working? Yesterday it didn't work but today it is? Can anyone suggest if/what I did that has now made it work? And if there is a potential fault somewhere.
Again this evening turned the heating on and no noise, no boiler firing up and synchron motor not moving? Tried hot water and boiler fired up, synchron motor working. The valve is easy moved as before. Any ideas?
