For a while now my hot water and radiators have been burning hot even though they have been turned down to nearly minimum. Then on Saturday they stopped working altogether the 'ON' light was on my Baxi Combi 80Eco boiler but no pilot light would come on. I have had someone out to take a look but was quoted a rediculous price to fix it :( and from what I could gather it was the PCB that needed replacing. Apparantly it's a safety thing that stops the boiler from working cos it was getting to hot? Does anyone know if the PCB could be the fault so I can get it fixed cheaper than that rediculous price I was quoted :) ?
always get three quotes from independant people, and include the gas board, there prices are high but once they tell you whats wrong you can source cheaper labour
