Indirect system
when selecting hot water only, boiler fires up ok.
Selecting Central Heating only - system dead.
Selecting Hot water and Central Heating system heats water only,
switch off Hot water, system dies.
Replaced Controller, room stat ok.
Any ideas?

Do you have a two or three port zone valve? Try operating it manually when the boiler is on. It could be stuck or faulty.
