House extension onto existing property advice sought Information, help and advice on many architecture, self build and design problems and issues

Hi everyone, apologies if this isn't the correct section to post in but seemed the closest I could find. Looking for some advice on the impact of having another house built onto ours. The LL is building another property directly into the side of the house we are in, the top floor will be adjoined so we'll lose the side window but the bottom will be separated by an walk under archway. Just trying to work out what the affect will be on this building. If they have to knock part of our wall down to build onto it for example so we know whether we will need to temporarily relocate while the work is ongoing? Many thanks
