Hi ya, first time post so please bear with me. I am a new diy'er eager to learn. I noticed a kitchen tap dripping and going through some posts looks like change of washer would fix it. However, this tap looks to be different to all other taps I have seen and there is no screw to undo and open the tap.
I have attached the photo. Please could you help me by advising how to open? Any help is much appreciated
One, a screw is hidden under the red/blue mark which can be prised out. Two, the levers can be removed by being unscrewed. This will reveal a tiny allen screw.
Oh, and these taps do not use washers. They are ceramic discs and only available after some research. Check they are not still under warranty.
Plumbbob, As you have suggested, it appears to be, the solution is option 2 I.e., unscrewing lever bar.
However, Its very tight when I try to unscrew with hand. Before I try it harder using a tool, may sound dumb but can I check, I believe I turn the lever bar anti clock wise to open?
