I have a basin mixer tap. The hot tap sticks and is very stiff. I want to disassemble it, clean it and lubricate it but I can't work out how to remove the handle. It has a chrome cap on the end, then a red plastic piece and then a knurled piece before another smooth chrome. I assume that the cap on the end covers a nut, bolt or screw but it doesn't want to just pull off easily. Before I try and force it any ideas?
