How to Make Good Paramount Board After Taking off Tiles in Ensuite

by takemehome » Thu Mar 03, 2016 9:20 am

Hi all,

Well I've given in, taken the tiles off my ensuite shower to find the paramount wall behind and as its made a mess of the board there are patches showing of the cardboard box.

Just wondering what is best to do, I've been told I can plaster over the damaged board and then tile on top but also been told to rip the paper off and get the shower side of the plaster off and put new aqua board up after cutting strips in the cardboard and installing timber.

What have you done or would do as I'm very confused, thanks

its best to remove the plasterboard and replace it with aqua board in a shower.
