I have some decking with a pergola attached (came as a kit.) that is roughly 3.5m x 3.5m and set on some sloping ground. I need to move the deck/pergola up the slight incline by 60cms (2') in order the get my shed to fit (slight snafu on the measurements.). What is the best way to do this? I was thinking of sliding it up some plywood ramps, or jack it up and use some round posts to roll it. Is there a 'trick of the trade' way of doing this?
Hi macflame Suggest you jack up the top end and drop on a round pole then lever the whole thing up the slope from the bottom end which will dig in allowing you to position it accurately. Regards S
