how to put skirking board on curved walls

Post by brid » Thu Feb 16, 2012 3:36 pm

I have curved walls in our house, and were using oak skirting board, i just wanted to know if anyone knew how to curve the skirting so it fits to the curved corners of walls.
thanks

cut out the plaster and screw 2x1 battens or ply securely to the masonry. Then with a nail gun and gripfill fix the skirting to it.If its a concave curve cut the back of the skirting 10mm deep and every 20mm and use the same method as mentioned.
