How to Repair a Damaged Wet Verge

Post by LikesDoingItRight » Fri Jul 19, 2019 11:39 am

Hi everyone

The last but one tile at the bottom of the verge on my bungalow has been broken and needs to be replaced (I have spares). In order to insert the new tile, the tile above needs to be lifted, but it is bedded in mortar and moving it will cause further damage.

Is there anything I can do to avoid having to replace the whole verge and yet achieve a good quality repair?

If the whole verge has to come off, then I would prefer to use a dry fix system if possible. Can this be done?

The tiles are double wave concrete tiles (Camtiles), installed in the 60s. Apologies for lack of photo. I am not techie enough to get them down to 500KByte
