My house house has several strange features which make it look a bit odd. I'm slowly trying to normalise them all. One is that all of the door frames run to the ceiling, and have a small window above the doors. See picture.
My initial plan was just to block up the windows, and replace the internal doors with nice doors, but this will involve taking 50mm off of standard 1980mm doors. I'm now thinking it might be worth removing the whole frame, and putting a normal sized door frame in with normal wall above. I have no idea how difficult this would be, so if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated. Ideally would like to do this for 3 doors and not break the bank.
