Some time ago a howling noise started coming from the cold water tank in the loft during refiling. I replaced the diaphragm washer. Same problem but noise pitch changed. Replaced the diaphragm washer and the high pressure seat. Same problem but noise pitch changed again.
I would appreciate any ideas you may have. Is it just simpler to change the whole ballcock?
