an anyone tell me how to get rid of humming water pipes, when we use the shower after a few minutes or turn the taps on for a while I have tried bleeding the radiators,we had it last year about sept and it went away when the heating was put on hence me bleeding the radiators
the water to the shower and wash basin etc are not connected to the radiators. The sound is probably water hammer, try turning the water flow rate down at the main stop tap and check pipes are lagged and clipped where necessary.
is the humming happening after running the hot, cold tap or both, if its ot only, you have a f and e tank in the loft which feeds water to the hot water cylinder the washer in the float valve that fills this could require replacing
