We've got an Indesit IDV 75 (UK) tumble dryer that's now out of warranty. The timer has started going round too quickly, so a 120 minute cycle completes in under 30 minutes.
Before I buy a replacement timer part, can anyone confirm that the fault will definitely be with the timer or can other parts of the dryer (e.g. thermostat) force the timer dial to rotate more quickly?
