Installing a window near a gas central heating flue

Post by will_j » Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:06 pm

I would like to install a window. The wall I want to put the window in has a flue from the gas central heating in it. How close can I have the window to the flue?

Thanks,

Will

For a fanned draught terminal it's 300mm. If its a natural draft balanced flue then the distance varies depending on the appliance and is a minimum 300mm up to as much as 2m.

Cheers
