Installing new shower screen for shower over bath and using glue gun or should I stick to silicone?

Postby ronroncelup » Mon May 10, 2021 1:01 pm

I bought a fixed shower screen that needs to be attached to a wall of tiles to the side, and the rim of the bath tub at the bottom. I was thinking of what the easiest/best way is to go about; do I use a glue gun to fix it, or is it better to use other materials ?

Opinions and reasoning behind are much appreciated...

Hi ronroncelup
Stay with sanitary silicone but make sure you leave a gap under the screen so that there is a good bed of silicone to take up any relative movement wall/screen/bath.
