I’m after some advice on whether I have expectations that are too high or if this is not of reasonable quality?
We have been politely told that the contractors who carried out the building of the wall believe it is satisfactory.
We did not go into fine details one building standards / expectations but when I look at the pier and look how well it has been pointed and then the rest of the wall I personally believe it is not acceptable.
I’m assuming (dangerous I know) that the sections where the pointing doesn’t fill the void could possibly fill with water if the rain falls that way and if it freezes could then crack and then make the wall unstable.
