isolating a megaflo to carry out work on a leaking pipe

by minitim » Sat Nov 12, 2016 12:03 pm

I have a leaking speedfit fitting in a length of pipe work in the loft which is supplying my shower, I understand how to replace this fitting.

However, my hot water system is a megaflo system (in the airing cupd). If I turn off the cold water supply to my megaflo and turn on my shower to then disconnect and repair the pipe, will I lose all the pressure in the megaflo/ system? Or will the pressure reinstate when I turn the CW supply to my megaflo back on and eventually close the shower valve?

Grateful for any advice you can offer!
