Kitchen / Dishwasher Within Base Unit and Hinges Won't Fit

by donblako » Tue Mar 19, 2019 7:34 pm

All,

Due to limited space and waste outlet in an awkward space, the only option left was to find a dishwasher to fit within carcass. Delighted when I found this.

Less delighted now as standard door hinges won’t fit!

Any hinge help would be most appreciated, have standard door to attach???

Thanks in advance!

It looks as if you didn't find a dishwasher that fits inside your carcasses as it is too big.

Assuming that you can't move the machine to the left your only option is to remove the hande as no door is going to close over it then hang all doors on the left.

There aren't enough pictures to see if the cabinet carcass can be lengthened or moved out a little.

Sorry, it’s not sticking out, it’s the lack of space to the side for hinges

If it isn't sticking out then there is plenty of space. To hang the door to the cabinet on the left hand side if you must use euro hinges, not ideal but the only option to match the doors under.

There is no hinge that you can fit on the right that will match the way the door under opens as it is a full overlay door.

To get anything slightly similar you will have to cut a strip off your current door that is the width of the carcass side, attach that to the carcass on the right then use butt hinges
