kitchen extension

Is it possible to feed a smaller consumer unit off the exsisting say from a 30A breaker.

Hi, Yes but not much point at only 30 A as only going to be able to run equivelent to 1 new ring!
However if running say a 45A MCB & 6mm cable then could run in new local ring plus lighting, extract fan etc. on own circuits, regards
