by somuchdiy1 » Tue Nov 09, 2021 7:27 pm

hi bit of a silly question hope you can help.
i need to replace 2 end panels that go each side of washing machine as they have got wet and swollen. there is a worktop thats is connected these side panels with brackets, the worktop is used as main kitchen worktop with kettle etc on and joins wall with sealant.
while im replacing the side panels whats the best way to keep the worktop upright in same position. hope you understand my question thanks

Replace one at a time, the other end panel should maintain the worktop position. Alternatively make a 'dead man', a piece of timber with a cross piece (letter T)
Wedge this underneath the worktop to maintain position.
