When my boiler is on and i turn on any hot tap the pipes make a knocking sound followed by a hum before the noise stops. this may happen a couple of times a day but not all the time. i think its a valve problem but which one (if any) i have a pressurised system with a pressure vessel by the hot water tank and another type of pressure vessel in the loft.
please help
