laminate flooring round a trapdoor

Post by spike88 » Wed Oct 06, 2010 9:38 am

I'm intending to put laminate flooring in a hallway. The floor contains a trapdoor for access to the underfloor space. How is the flooring finished off round the hole for the trapdoor and also the trap door itself. The edging would need to be thin to avoid a tripping hazard. Is there an edging which can be applied and do the edges require fixing to the underfloor?
Would be grateful for any advice
