Lamp post

Post by mattdiy » Sun Jan 13, 2008 10:15 pm

Hi,

There is a lamp post in the pavement outside my house, unfortunately it overlaps the drive making it very difficult to park two cars on the drive, also it is partially positioned within my boundary.

Can anyone tell me where I stand with regards getting it repositioned.

Cheers in advance for any advice.

Matt

Hi mattdiy,
you need to get in touch with the local council, most probally a highways and bye-ways issue. Talk to them they will inform you where you stand on the issue

I'd like to know the answer to this if you find out, as I have seen a house I'd like to buy but it has the same problem with a lampost pretty much in the middle of the drive way......
