lead oxidisation

by minties mate » Fri Feb 20, 2009 1:32 pm

i recently had lead flashing put on a new extension roof, leaving a tiny flat area for me to finish off. when the guy who did the flashing finished, he rubbed a solution into the lead which gave it a darker appearance. i have now added the final flat area but its much brighter than the other. can anyone tell me what he may of used??
thanks in advance

minties mate,
He's probably used patination oil available from builders merchants.
