Leaking Constantly Bath and Shower Mixer Tap

Postby chrish1958 » Fri Dec 21, 2018 4:17 pm

Hello plumbers, hoping someone can advise if it is possible to work on the type of bath/shower mixer tap in the photo.
When selected to shower flow it leaks constantly into the bath. I've tried flooding with Kilrock to free any limescale restriction but that didn't work.
The gland nut to the mixer selector lever is very tight, but if I undo that will I be able to remove/replace the valve inside? There are no nuts or allen key slots on the underside to release.
Grateful for any advice.

Cheers
