leaking radiator from pinhole in stud weld

by montroy » Tue Nov 06, 2007 2:50 pm

a small pinhole has occurred at one of the stud welds in the middle of the front face. Any ideas how to seal this ? or is replacement radiator the only cure. I have already tried epoxy based material and this has failed.

I would replace the radiator, unless you can get someone to re-weld it for you.

Yep it's a replacement radiator, how old are they? What colour is the water in them? Could just be a bad one off rad or an indicater things are not well in your system.
