Leaking Shower Valve

by max101 » Sat Oct 23, 2010 4:36 pm

Hi

We have a Grohe shower valve and its leaking fron the bottom of the valve itself. It only leaks when the shower is running but it's quite a bit of water making the shower pressure poor.

Should I have a look inside it or do I need a plumber???

Thanks for any help.

Grohe make many different types of valve so without knowing what type you have makes it difficult to be helpful without typing a book.

Grohe are good showers so this is an uncommon problem. I assume you have checked the shower hose is tight and has a washer fitted?? That is of course assuming yours has a shower hose??
