Yo!
I’m trying to replace an old iron manhole cover with a recessed one. Have got two problems:
1) there doesn’t seem to be any lip in the little holes where I thought I’d need to insert the manhole key.
2) there doesn’t seem to be a frame at all! As in it looks like the manhole cover is just concreted in. Could that be the case?
Either way keen for advice on how to lift it!
