Lights in one room dead

by timmy_boy52 » Fri Mar 02, 2007 3:11 pm

Hi there,

Yesterday all the lights went off in my house. When I reset the tripswitch for the lighting circuit, and then tested the lights around the house, all the rooms worked except for the loft, where there are 9 halogen spots on a dimmer switch.

One of the fittings had worked loose from the ceiling, and the bulb in that fitting had blown. However there doesn't appear to be any problem with the connection to that fitting, and I have now replaced the bulb, but still no lights.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tim

Are you sure the loft lights are not on another circuit Tim?
