Hi, We are renovating an extended 70's bungalow. We are thinking of lining the sloping ceiling in our dining area with insulated plaster board. It's in one of the extended areas, single story and so the roof structure is directly above the fitted wooden ceiling.
We are aware that one method with walls is to mount battens and fix the stuff to that.
The ceiling is wooden, painted tongue and groove pine. It's firmly attached so would there be any issues with attaching the insulated board directly to that surface?
If there are issues around this can anyone recommend a method for fitting the boards up? Or another method of improving insulation of that ceiling?
