Loft Boards Lifted up and Loft Insulation Advice Needed

Hi just taken up the boards in the loft and there is 250 mm glass wool the insulation seems fine but have to remove all the boards for a plumbing job should I leave it add to it or change it, what do you think. thanks Darren

270/300mm is the norm on newbuilds. But any extra insulation is a good thing. Will also help with an energy rating when you sell.
