Loft Conversion flooring/Stud Walls

Post by corfiep » Thu Aug 02, 2012 12:01 pm

Hi, I'm a DIY'er and currently doing a loft convertion on my bungalow. Have installed new floor joists and completed roof insulation, Building regs compliant.
Before I start erecting stud walls I need to know if the flooring should go down first or the stud walls go directly on top of new floor joists? I assume that the flooring should be done after I have erected stud wall frames and have completed elect and plumbing first fixes?
Any advice?

Thanks for response. First fixes then floors will go in followed by stud walls.
