Lose of cold water pressure

by neil101 » Wed May 25, 2011 9:17 am

I have a mixer tap fitted on the bath, fed from hot and cold water tanks. When using only the shower setting, there is no problem. However when switched to fill the bath the cold water pressure goes down to a trickle and does not return to eitherthe tap or shower without running a hose from a mains tap back through the system as though clearing trapped air. Can anyone advise me of a permenant fix. I'm getting sick of only showers!!!!!!!!

neil101,
It's got to be an airlock, try using a wet vac to suck the bath tap.
