Low Hot Water Pressure

by johnrbaxter » Tue Apr 10, 2007 9:17 am

My daughter owns a flat where the hot water to the sink basin and bath comes from a cylinder with immersion heater. There is a small open tank above the cyinder with ballcock. All cold water supplies are directly from the mains pressure which is very high. The hot water pressure is very poor.Is it possible to fit a pump to circulate the hot water in these circumstances or is a more comprehensive solution required?

its because the feeder tank is right above the cylinder move the little tank higher and you will get more pressure^^ otherwise its no better than a combination cylinder

the little tank needs lifting higher to give a better rate from the cylinder,as high as possible really
