Hi all, I’m looking for some advice. I’m currently building my own extension under building control etc and have just taken delivery of the bifolds. I noticed they didn’t have trickle vents.....I looked through the order and realised I didn’t specify them! Now I hate them anyway but that’s another topic. I have looked through the internet and tried to get an idea regarding whether it is acceptable or not but haven’t had any luck. Obviously it is a costly mistake, but how can I get around this? I will fess up to my bco but am looking at the options first
If you have another window or door serving the room(extension) which has a trickle vent then the bi folds will not require any. This may depend on the size of the extension i.e. if it is a very large extension you may require more than one trickle vent
